Haymarket Books is an independent, nonprofit publisher of radical books. We seek to contribute to the education and development of a critical, engaged, and internationalist Left, through our work in political education and our publishing on everything from Palestine to police and prison abolition, marxism and socialism, migrant justice, poetry, and beyond.
No More Exclusions is a Black-led and community-based abolitionist grassroots coalition movement, centring the voices and experiences of children and young people who have experienced oppressive education and exclusion. They will be discussing their work and anti-racist education alongside Jesse Hagopian’s Teach Truth.
Books Against Borders is a political education collective combining radical study of anticolonial, abolitionist and anticapitalist texts with political organising. They will be holding a reading and discussion space on the theme of parenting and abolition, drawing from Maya Schenwar and Kim Wilson’s edited collection, We Grow the World Together.
Medical Aid for Palestinians provides urgent and immediate medical aid to Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon, as well as working with local partners to develop long-term health and medical infrastructure.
