Join D.K. Renton and Daniel Trilling at Reference Point on the 2nd of July to discuss the dangerous path we're on, how we got here, and what we can do to change it.

As nationalistic, anti-immigrant and white supremacist narratives find increasing prominence in mainstream discourse and policies, we must ask ourselves: how did we get here, and what can we do differently? Tracing the path towards fascism and the horrors of the past, present, and possible futures, this discussion seeks to explore how we can find ways to respond to harm and injustice to build a more sustainable, liberated alternative.

Drawing on the work in their recently-published respective books, If We Tolerate This: How the British Establishment Made the Far Right Respectable and Revolutionary Forgiveness: Beyond Moralism, Toward Liberation, authors Daniel Trilling and D.K. Renton delve into challenging questions confronting us today as rising tides of right-wing violence suggest fascism is rearing its head once more.

Join us on the 2nd of July at Reference Point in London, WC2R 3DA.

Books will be available to purchase at the venue!
